PayPal Extends Offer With PayPal Complete Payments

Published: 22.03.2024

PayPal has launched a new service called PayPal Complete Payments, which aims to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a comprehensive solution for accepting a wider range of online payments.

What Is PayPal Complete Payments?

This news service was launched targeting smaller businesses which may otherwise have issues integrating multiple payment options. It’s intended as an inclusive all-in-one package that streamlines the payment process from the vendor’s perspective. Theoretically, this should allow for easier payments and more options when dealing with small-to-mid-sized businesses.

This all-in-one offering allows merchants to incorporate various alternative payment methods, including PayPal payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and buy now, pay later (BNPL) solutions, in addition to traditional credit and debit cards.

Key features include:

  • Accepting multiple payment methods
  • Customizing pricing with partner fees
  • Handling foreign exchange for global currencies
  • Making payouts
  • Managing disputes and chargebacks

Other Features

To enhance the customer experience, PayPal has introduced a feature called Package Tracking, which enables sellers to sync order and tracking information with PayPal, facilitating a streamlined resolution process in case of disputes.

In light of the increasing levels of e-commerce fraud, PayPal Complete Payments also provides fraud, chargeback, and seller protections.

Currently available in 22 markets worldwide, the service supports integrations with popular e-commerce platforms like Adobe Commerce and WooCommerce. Early data suggests that PayPal Complete Payments has resulted in a 4.2% increase in credit and debit card acceptance for UK merchants.

From the perspective of casino fans, this is generally purely good news. You may soon notice casinos accepting PayPal also include other methods through this handy integration.

This is another in a series of new features and releases from PayPal specifically targeting SMEs.
